Shanghai, China — October 19, 2026. JMD concluded All in Print China 2026 with demonstrations of two digital book finishing configurations, agreements for high-speed digital perfect-binding projects, and meetings with customers from China and overseas. The five-day exhibition closed on October 16 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
The event brought together three priorities for JMD: matching digital finishing workflows to different book production needs, supporting customers investing in binding capacity, and discussing equipment requirements face to face.
Digital finishing for different book formats and run lengths
JMD demonstrated the Digital FoldLine 180 folding and cutting line with two binding systems: the Digital Robot 2000C and the new Digital Robot 5000. The configurations reflect more than a decade of development in JMD’s digital post-press technology.
Digital FoldLine 180 + Digital Robot 2000C: a configuration for short runs of thick books, where flexible format changes and a quick response to changing jobs are important.
Digital FoldLine 180 + Digital Robot 5000: a configuration for higher-volume thin-book production, including orders requiring more than 2,000 books per hour.
The distinction is practical: printers need to match finishing capacity to their book formats, run lengths and changeover requirements, rather than choose equipment on a single speed figure alone.

A broader portfolio for high-speed perfect binding
Alongside its digital finishing demonstrations, JMD discussed its wider range of high-speed perfect-binding equipment. The portfolio extends from the Cambridge-12000 to the fourth-generation Newbridge, with a production speed of up to 13,000 books per hour, and the Sunbridge 15000, with a production speed of 15,000 books per hour.
These systems give printers different options as their production requirements develop. Model selection depends on the application and the scale of the operation.
Project agreements with Phoenix Tongda and Fuchun Printing
During the exhibition, Jiangsu Phoenix Tongda Printing Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Fuchun Printing Co., Ltd. each signed an agreement with JMD for a high-speed digital perfect-binding line project.
Shi Lisheng, general manager of Jiangsu Phoenix Tongda Printing, and Luo Jianping, chairman of Hangzhou Fuchun Printing, signed the agreements with Zheng Bin, chairman of JMD. The signings marked the next stage of cooperation with the two printing companies.

Conversations with customers from China and overseas
JMD welcomed established customers and first-time visitors from across China, as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Poland. Equipment demonstrations led to detailed discussions about products, workflows and production needs.
For JMD, the exhibition was also an opportunity to renew longstanding relationships and establish new contacts. The company thanks everyone who visited its booth and looks forward to continuing those conversations beyond the show.
